Debit vs. Credit Cards

People often use debit and credit cards interchangeably when shopping, but there are some major differences between them. The debit card is issued ay a bank through which you have direct access to the funds in your bank account, whereas a credit card does not use any of the money from your bank account for a purchase, and instead lets you borrow the money from the credit card company. When you withdraw money from your bank at an ATM owned by that bank via your debit card, you will not have to pay any fees.
If you use your credit card, however, even if it from the same company that owns the ATM it is considered a cash advance and fees will imply. There are other advantages of credit cards over debit though. They allow you to spend more than what you have in the bank, and as long as you repay the money you owe within the billing period you will not pay any interest on it.
